Dr. Tim Dailey is the Director of Bands for the Milford Exempted Village School District in Milford, OH. Prior to his 2018 appointment to the Milford Band Program, Dr. Dailey was the Director of Bands at Grant County High School in Dry Ridge, KY for five years. Under his direction, the Grant County Band Program doubled in size, won the 2015 KMEA Class 4A State Marching Band Championship, and received accolades for the Jazz Ensemble, Brass Choir, and Winter Guard. Additionally, Dr. Dailey serves as Principal Trumpet and Assistant Conductor of “Cincinnati’s Band”, the Fillmore Wind Band, who most recently performed at the 2017 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky, University of Arkansas, and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Dr. Dailey is an active performer on the trumpet, and freelances regularly in the Greater Cincinnati Area. His performance credits include the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra, the Fort Smith Symphony Orchestra, the Lima Symphony Orchestra, the Lexington Philharmonic, the Ozark Mountains British Brass Band, the Boston Mountains Brassworks, the Fayetteville Jazz Collective, and the Fillmore Wind Band.
When he isn’t teaching or playing music, Dr. Dailey enjoys reading, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Mackenzie and daughter, Sophie.
